The Woman in Cabin 10 - Ruth Ware

GREAT TWISTS & TURNS AND THEN WONDERING WHAT WAS NEXT! This was a great book, I had started it last year and then couldn’t get into it. It’s a little slow going in the beginning until you get to about page 85, then the book really takes off. I was reading and reading and excited to see what was going to happen next. I was confused a few times because some “articles” that were in the book and the dates didn’t feel like they coincided with the books timeline. It just made it that more interesting and made me think and read more. Great book, I would definitely read this one again and recommend to friends.

The BreakdownThe Breakdown by B.A. Paris
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Where do I begin? Where should I end? Should I even bother writing this review? You wouldn't believe me if I told you anyway... or would you? hummmm.... I don't want to write the same old review that this was amazing and I didn't expect it to be as it was but it was. I could go on and on about this book but I seriously hate it when people write spoilers!! JUST READ IT!!! PROMISE?

It's always the husband - By Campell

It's always the husband, or is it?!

Well you will have to read this to find out. I will say it was a little slow going at first, lots and lots of details and three characters to start who, you learn about along the about page 60 the book took off and I just kept reading, great book, great story line, takes place mainly  in NH & NY.

I loved how I got to know the people and felt like I was there, this is a true, drama, mystery, and suspense right to the verrrry end.

The last day of reading I couldn't put it down, I don't want to spoil it for you but it's worth the read even if it takes you a little bit longer.  I miss the characters as well.

I chose this book over the title and the cover as well as all the author endorsements on the back of the book, that pretty much sealed the deal. Very good book and then some.

Happy reading, Heather

I gave this book a solid 5 STARS!
After reading IN THE DARK not to long ago and then reading DARK HARVEST, I felt that this book flowed so smoothly from the first book, there weren't any gaps or confusions, I just kept reading uninterrupted. Patchell's writing has excelled exponentially, I'm looking forward to reading more from Patchell, she truly writes like a true author!! Even though the story is "dark" it was written with passion, flare, and pure enthusiasm and no detail was left out. There were parts in the book that just kept me on edge waiting to see what was going to happen next, the anticipation of some of the scenes were gripping in so many ways. I LOVED IT! I could go on and on, but trust IN THE DARK!

The JesterThe Jester by James Patterson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I LOVED THIS BOOK well once I got into it. I had picked it up years ago and wanted to read it and just didn't then I got back to reading it and loved it. EXCELLENT BOOK! I'm almost sad that it is over. It was an EPIC journey for the Jester and the battles were amazing and I would read this again and again, I could see everything that was going on and it was extremely well written, one of the best Patterson books I think I have ever read, lots of detail, more than his books he has out now. It was just packed full of ADVENTURE and amazing thought and well played in every direction.

The Widow by Fiona Barton

The WidowThe Widow by Fiona Barton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I would give this book 3.5-4.0 stars
The Widow is an interesting well written book that will leave you waiting for the suspense to actually start. I found it very engrossing and it kept my interest at all times however it didn't jump out at me as a book that I had to read. I picked this book up because of the cover and the Stephen King endorsement / comments. The suspense was there in spirts and didn't really state until the last 125 pages in my opinion. It was very good however. There's lots of reporter and widow talking back and forth and trying to find out who dun-it', however when it comes right down to it, does it matter anymore? The end was good, but then again it was confusing too and caused me to re-read the last two pages a few times to make sure that I read it correctly. I wouldn't recommend this book to read but I wouldn't say not to read it either. There's a lot of things about the internet and cyber things that make you think about your everyday life and how you should protect yourself as well, and how easy it is to just slip into things that should be more private. Keep an eye on your kids especially the little ones that can't defend themselves and happy reading! Heather
